i figured i should tell you guys about my day!
i woke up with a headache. and my internal organs were having a war because of girl-things. that's a great way to start the day, huh.
then i went to do a test shoot with an absolutely amazing model, and a stylist/MUA i've worked with a few times earlier. i was quite looking forward to it. outside it was snowing/raining, really dark, really cold, and really grey.
it took us quite a while to decide on the styling. we had a bit different opinions on what we wanted to do, and it was just all blah and uninspired. not quite sure why really, i think i'll blame it on the weather.
when we finally got outside, it was around 30 mins left of the daylight, we kinda improvised with the location. but it didn't work too well. so we decided we just had to turn around completely and try to think of something else.
so we went to the models' apartment to try and take the pictures indoors. but it didn't work either, as it was a quite tiny space, and the place didn't go with the styling.
and then the sync cable to my light broke. it was a fairly cheap one, so i guess i'm to blame for that one, but still.
so there we were, no lights, styling that didn't really work and a location that didn't really work too well either (at least not with what we had planned). in the end i got a couple of pictures, but i haven't tried editing them yet, and it might prove more difficult than i thought. we'll see.
this whole mess started around 11am, and we gave up around 6pm (and inbetween this i hadn't had any time to eat, so i was getting -really- tired and hungry). and then i packed up my stuff and took the tram to the train station. the tram was a lot slower than usual, and i had to run like crazy to get to the station in time. only to find out that the train was delayed with 20 mins.
when the train finally came, i got on, put on my music, looked through the pictures on my camera, blah blah. but then suddenly the train didn't go in the direction it usually does. i was on the wrong train.. it has never happened to me before, and i've been commuting for almost 7 years now! anyway, i had to wait for around half an hour in the middle of a very dark and cold nowhere, until *guzh and his incredibly kind mum came to pick me up (after i called them (crying) for help)..
i'm not quite sure why i deserved this insanely crappy day, but at least i'm pretty sure i've used up all my bad luck for a while..
...how was your day? ;D
